The glitter card stock has the most rich color palettes, and they were the inspiration for this beautiful party. I was so excited to dive in and start my projects for this a bright and colorful Sweet 16 Candy Shoppe. You know that I LOVE my colors, so I completely let loose on this one!  I started with my backdrop sign and used these cute candy shapes found in the Design Space. I really like to mix and match fonts, and I was so happy to see that the Design Space also has tons of options available for text. I used Chloe and Black Oak for my sign.

I wanted the candies to be perfect! I found an amazing assortment of sweets at Miami Candies. They made it so easy to coordinate the colors and theme for my Sweet 16 Candy Shoppe.

Garlands are one of my favorite party decor elements. They are fun, festive and gives me an opportunity to continue the theme throughout the party. I decided to use the same cute shapes from the backdrop for my candy garland. Those little swirls make me happy and I am obsessed with the gold lollipop sticks!

Although I don’t make them often, I really love balloon tails. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I completed this project with my Cricut Explore Air 2. I was also able to create the Sweet 16 balloon embellishment using Gold Foil Washi Sheets. Just wow! Even as a long-time Cricut user, I am totally impressed with the versatility of the latest machine and supplies. I can see a lot more embellished balloons with pretty tails in my future!
